Don’t dare missing!

It’s being available the February edtion of Guitar Player magazine. This astonishing issue brings an about 8-page interview, pictures and even some transcriptions of the biggest Dr. Sin hits as well as of some songs from their most recent debut, ANIMAL.

Edu Ardanuy commented on his career beginning, bands he took part on, his influences and also how he has developed his musical technique and personality.

We took advantage of this occasion to post an unreleased video from the time Edu Ardanuy was so called “Eduzinho Malmsteen”, a nickname he got due to he being one of the few who could play some songs by the Sweden guitar player. In this video, Edu gets on stage for a jam session along with the brothers Andria and Ivan Busic. It was the end of the 80’s when Edu was still a member of the bands The Key (Chave do Sol) and Anjos da Noite.

Besides being the main issue of the current edtion of Guitar Player, Edu Ardanuy was elected one of the best guitar players in Brazil these days, according to Rolling Stone magazine.
The survey elected eletric and acoustic guitar players by their contribution to music and last Thursday (February 16) the tv program Leitura Dinâmica broadcasted this list. Watch the video below and leave a message to Edu Ardanuy:

Three alive videos from the debut show of the album Animal.
On September 20, 2011, Dr.Sin released their CD “Animal” in the event Tagima Dream Team that took place at Moinho in São Paulo. The event, that was recorded and broadcasted alive by Show Livre, has now make available three videos on its YouTube Channel.

Pontapé Inicial program, broadcasted daily by ESPN, had Dr.Sin as their main atraction on November 1.
Mixing music and sport, Pontapé Inicial received the band alive. Besides a very friendly interview, the band also played some umplugged songs.

In 1997, a genuine rock’n roll commercial showed up on TV, full of guitar solo that reminded a lot those radical propagandas produced by cigarette companies. Unlikely what was broadcasted by that time, it was an All Star commercial and brought as its main actor Dr.Sin drums player, Ivan Busic, who was playing a guitar (that is it, a guitar) and a young top model that the world would come to know later as Gisele Bundchen.

The rock magazine Roadie Crew, number 154, brings an exclusive interview with Dr. Sin in November. Roadie Crew: Animal gathers everything the group has produced along the years. Would you say that this was the most complete and versatil Dr. Sin’s work?

Ivan Busic: We have equal care for all our records, however I also think this one is the most complete, not only by the way it was made but also by the way it was recorded… I believe it is, perhaps, the most concrete and inpiring one. I don’t mean the others were not, but after twenty years and nine records you create a very strong identity and it has shown up clearly in this album.

AIR, the new Rodrigo Simão album, who has been Dr. Sin’s keyboard player for the last 10 years, was produced and edited by Andria Busic in the Busic brothers’ studio, Studio Sonata 84.

Welcome to the new Dr. Sin’s official website. In 2010, we passed a survey along with our twitter’s followers and many of them suggested us to change our main vehicle of information with our fans. Therefore we felt like developing a new website with a bigger amount of content and that was easier and faster to surf on.
